On Wednesday, 23 October the Carmel Music Department held its first ever Music Awards night.  This special event honoured the hard work, dedication and talent of students who have enriched the school’s Music programme throughout the year.  From perfect attendance to long-standing commitment, a variety of awards were presented.  Six students were recognised with prestigious awards for their exceptional contributions to the department.

Amber Lee – The Liturgical Music Leaders Cup

Pruna Lee – Outstanding Contribution to Music Cup

Anouk O’Malley-Cain –  Chelsea Devine Cup for Vocal Music

Calli Romano – Senior Musicianship Cup

Klarion Tablizo – Junior Musicianship Cup

Polly Walker –  Spirit of Carmel Music Cup

The Awards ceremony was complemented by exceptional performances from soloists, Helena Lee and Anouk O’Malley-Cain, and a compelling Chamber group performance by CAR (Calli Romano, Amber Lee and Romy Lee).
