Senior Basketball at the Northern Regional Premiership Tournament

Finishing their tournament in 12th place after a very tight matchup against our sister Mercy school, St Mary’s, going down 75-79 in the final minute.

At the end of the 2024 season, we farewell Year 13 player Hannah Bellett, captain of the team.  Thank you Hannah for your commitment to the Year 7/8 Basketball programme too.

Thank you to coach Chris Vaughan; tournament managers, Clare O’Sullivan and Sarah Bellett; and to the large crowd of family supporters behind these girls.

Congratulations to the Senior Netball team for their 23rd place finish in A Grade at this tournament.

10 games over 5 days is not easy and they narrowly missed out on Top 16 due to goal difference.

A shout out to the Carmel Invitational team who got a last minute call up into D grade and had a very successful week.

Carmel Netball farewells six Year 13 players this year – Mischa Renz, Simonne Lawson, Aliya Rawle, Lani Rawle, Kolotile Naufahu, Matilda Lassen.  It has been an absolute pleasure to watch you all over the past 7 years.
