On Saturday 8 June, five Year 11 and 12 students travelled to Auckland Diocesan School in order to participate in the Ethics Olympiad. For the weeks leading up to the Olympiad, we were given eight case studies, which we read and discussed in weekly meetings. On the day of the event, we participated in three heats where we took turns with other schools answering questions about the case studies and the different moral perspectives regarding each one. Participating in the Ethics Olympiad taught me many valuable skills, and it was a really enjoyable experience.
