On Sunday, 15 Carmel students were participants in YMCA’s annual fashion show – Walk The Line. Carmel does very well in this annual show, having many winners in the past and this trend continued this year with Danyela Maitland’s success as the category winner for Streetwear. New Zealand’s front row fashion icons were in attendance, giving advice and opportunities to some of our Senior Materials students. A big congratulations goes to those involved from Carmel in YMCA’s Raise Up crew and the girls who created beautifully made, high-end garments. This would not have been possible without the outstanding time and effort that both Mrs Seedall and Mrs Goonan put in every year. They were beyond proud of their students’ efforts and as always, we are all looking forward to Carmel’s success next year!
