The Carmel College branch of the PPTA has notified the Board of Trustees that they are holding a paid union meeting held under the provisions of Section 26 of the Employment Relations Act 2000.

This will be held on Friday, 28 February from 1 pm at Carmel College and all teachers who are members of the PPTA have a right to attend this meeting.

As we will not have enough teachers to cover all classes, students in Years 10-13 will have no scheduled classes and will be sent home. Any student who is not able to go home will be able to go to the school library to have supervised study. Students in Years 7-9 will have supervised classes as per their timetable.
