Last Thursday, as part of the Year 7 Retreat, the Year 13 student leaders organised a lunch for the new Year 7 students. As it was a beautiful day, we gathered under the trees on the Nun’s Lawn to share some delicious food together. The new students received packs made by the Leadership Team and got to mingle in their house groups to get to know their peers better. After lunch we pulled out the old-school elastics and the Year 7s and Year 13s alike had so much fun playing these in the sun. It was a wonderful lunch for all, and a great way to encourage connections between young and older students.
