This Year 11 Art  Sculpture was completed in Week 4 of Term 1 this year. It is part of the internal assessment for Level One Visual Arts AS90915. The class began with a brief which was to make a sculpture using brown paper bags. Sculptures could have a theme of consumerism or Surrealism. Some use the English sculptor Bill Woodrow as their artist model. We began by experimenting with cutting, folding and other sculpture techniques using paper. Students were asked to come up with several ideas before refining their most successful and then making their sculpture.
