Congratulations to the students pictured below from left, Ciara Aitken, Annise Boothroyd, Sophie Drury, Swetlana Khoo, Seraphina Kim, Genevieve Lai and Juliana Vos who competed in the Australian-NZ Brain Bee Challenge during lockdown. They began studying the brain in August 2019, attending lunchtime tutorials and quizzes and spent many hours on Education Perfect. They then went head to head with 349 students from the North Island. All of the girls were successful with Genevieve and Juliana achieving the 4th equal top score. This was exceptional. Unfortunately, in light of the COVID-19 situation our girls will be unable to compete in the usual Round 2 NZ competition at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, The University of Auckland in July.
