Both Lumino the Dentists and your school know how important good oral health is to your child’s overall health and happiness, that is why Lumino the Dentists Mobile team has been invited to Carmel College from 15/06/2020 until 3/07/2020 to see students from Year 9 to 13.

We will be setting up one of our mobile dental units in the school grounds, and our dentist will provide each student with a dental examination, including dental health and care advice, x-rays (if required), treatment (if required) and a personal Smile Report.  If more complicated treatment is needed, your child will be referred to one of Lumino’s local practices. If your child requires orthodontic treatment, we will advise you to contact your orthodontist specialist.

Enrolling your child to see Lumino the Dentists is an ideal opportunity to give them preventative dental care easily and conveniently. Lumino the Dentists School Smiles Programme is fully funded by the Ministry of Health and is an effective model for delivering quality dental care to New Zealand’s secondary school students.

If you would like your child to be part of the Lumino The Dentists School Smiles Programme, please complete the online enrolment form in the link below or complete a paper enrolment form available from the dental unit or school reception. If your child is already enrolled, there is no need to re-enrol each year unless there has been a change of address or change in medical history. Please take note of the parental consent section for all students under the age of 16 years.
