On Wednesday 24 June, Maori and Pasifika students from both Rosmini College and Carmel College came together and played multiple Tag/Rippa games on the Carmel College field. This was a way for them to be able to meet new people and create new friendships with others in the Maori and Pasifika community. (MAPS) was a wonderful opportunity where students were removed from technology and instead socialised with students of different ages and similar cultural backgrounds. All shared a common love for sport and were also able to share a nice meal at the end of the games. It was especially refreshing to be able to come together as a community after all the madness of COVID-19.
