The Culture Club met on Monday and the leaders of the club gave a presentation on Ukraine and its history and culture.  Did you know that Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe?  Ukraine produces 18% of the world’s sunflower seed exports and has 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites in the country.  The Tunnel of Love in Klevan (pictured here) is actually a section of disused railway line and is a popular tourist attraction.

The girls made posters and origami figures in the colours of the flag to promote Friday’s mufti day being held in support of Ukraine.
