In Year 10 Digital Technologies, we have been learning a few concepts in Computer Science.  These include binary numbers, data encryption, artificial intelligence, text and data compression and error checking that computers use.  As a fun way to learn, we have been applying the concepts of ako, which involves the teaching and learning relationship.

Small groups of Year 7 students from Mr Kim’s and Ms Coenen’s class were taught by groups of Year 10 students.  Although some Year 10’s were nervous at the start, they found it fun and enjoyed working with the Year 7 students, who also learnt some new concepts in digital.
