Epro8 is a competition that includes problem solving skills, thinking and engineering. You read the questions and tasks from a booklet, then try to figure out how to make the requirement. By doing so your team can earn points if you do it correctly. But it’s not always easy – sometimes it takes ages to figure out how something works or why is it not working. Personally I think it’s fun and it’s a great way to try new things. The competition can sometimes be stressful but the judge will normally give you a hint on where it’s gone wrong.

I really liked how Epro8 challenged me to come out of my comfort zone. I enjoyed especially when we did the competition. You get to spend a whole lunchtime engineering these amazing contraptions. In conclusion even if you think you don’t like engineering, you should try out because there may be a chance you find your passion.
