Our school was well represented at this year’s Pompallier Shield competition hosted by Rosmini College, with a team of 18 students participating in various categories. The shield is a prestigious event that brings together Catholic schools from across the Auckland diocese to compete in Scripture Reading, Oratory, Te Reo Scripture and Waiata.
Our students impressed the judges with their well-prepared presentations and captivated the audience with their oratory skills and beautiful Waiata performances.
Overall, we placed 5th out of the 16 schools. While everyone on the team deserves recognition for their dedication and hard work, congratulations to Jasmine Lealaogata who secured the win in the Senior Oratory category for the second year in a row. Her accomplishment is a true testament to her talent and commitment.
The Pompallier Shield experience was a positive one for our team. They not only competed admirably but also had the opportunity to connect with their peers from other Catholic schools and share their faith.
