On Saturday 1 June the PTFA committee kicked off their Sausage Sizzle fundraising stall at Well Hung Butchery in Milford and what a banger (excuse the pun) it was………..
The PTFA are thrilled to announce this will be a regular thing – yes every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, the Carmel College PTFA committee will be hosting a gourmet sausage sizzle outside Well Hung Butchery on Kitchener Road, Milford from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Sausages are $5 each and vary in flavour. We had Beef, coriander and cracked pepper; Pork, fennel and leek; Pork and apple cider; Beef and mustard – all served on delicious Bakers Delight bread. There will be varying flavours at each ‘Sizzle’.
Our next Sizzle will be on 15 June.
Service hours available: we need Carmel students to help at the sausage sizzles; we want to give the girls an opportunity to earn 4 service hours. There will be a max of one sizzle per student to allow many to have a go. Details on how to register in next week’s newsletter.
