The Carmel College Orchestra had an amazing experience at this year’s KBB Music Festival at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell.  This year we entered as a competitive group, showcasing the incredible talents of our students both individually and as an ensemble.

We also had the unique opportunity to join forces with other school orchestras for a combined play-in, filling the Cathedral with the sounds of orchestral music on an epic scale.  It was such a memorable and enriching experience that was a clear display of the depth within our music programme.

On Saturday night, two of our Year 13 students, Calli Romano and Maia O’Callaghan attended the gala concert and the Orchestra was awarded Bronze.
