Our primary value focus this year is Awhinatanga, or Service. In the the subject of Physical Education & Health, this translates to the following actions:
- Maintaining cleanliness in our environment
- Returning lost PE gear
- Assisting with equipment proactively
- Participating in coaching and umpiring
- Inflating balls as needed
- Organizing and tidying gear sheds
- Volunteering time to support others
Throughout the year so far, we have been acknowledging students who exemplify this core value, with one or more students receiving an award for their dedication to our subject per month. Congratulations to the following individuals who have demonstrated outstanding Awhinatanga:
