Sailing Success
Congratulations to Tessa Clinton (Year 12). At the recent Yachting New Zealand’s Premier Sailing regatta for Youth Class and Olympic Class sailors, Tessa Clinton and crew, Amelia Higson, won the overall 420 Class event.
“Clinton, a two-time youth worlds competitor, recently partnered with promising Starling sailor Higson, and together they won six of the 10 races to take victory. “We’ve made great progress in a short time and are really happy with how the weekend went.”
Tessa and Amelia then competed in the 420 Class National Championships held over the weekend and won the Female National Championship title, placing 2nd overall, sailing in tricky conditions off Takapuna Beach.
