On 8 March, the Zonta Club celebrated International Women’s Day at Carmel. The theme for the 2022 International Women’s Day was to ‘Break the Bias.’ This campaign encourages us to bridge the gap of gender inequality and segregation by eliminating any biases, stereotypes and discrimination across the gender line.

We celebrated the countless contributions of women around the world that have shaped and enriched our communities, by writing their name on an origami heart. It was great to see a large number of girls join us in the  library, and recognise and celebrate all the inspirational women in our lives.
