Carmel College has been given the opportunity to host the 34th SGCNZ Shakespeare Festival this year.

There are a number of different competitions involved in this festival and they all are centred around the plays of William Shakespeare.  The first part of the festival is associated with performing plays of either 15 minute teacher or student related extract from a play;  5 minute plays are student directed.
