Last Wednesday, six of our students attended the Catholic Caring Foundation Mass which is held every year and honours the contribution that individuals and organisations make in our community.  We nominated six girls to receive an award for their example of dedication, care for others and outstanding contribution to service in both our Carmel and wider community.

The girls who received a special certificate are: Cherrie Ha, Julianna Remigio, Swetlana Khoo, Geraldine de Guzman, Frankie Rodriguez and Angelique Indrawidjaja.

This includes work with Young Vinnies and the Faith Cafe.  The girls were joined by other students from Catholic schools across Auckland who were recognised for their service.  Bishop Steve thanked everyone for their care for others and for not turning a blind eye to those in need.  Keep up the great work girls and well done on your example to all of us!
