As we come to the end of the 2024 school year, please make a note of the following dates and details:
Final day for 2024
Thursday 12 December is the final school day for 2024.
- 8.45am – normal school start time for all Year 7-10 students.
- 9.30am – Year 7-10 Prizegiving in the college gym. Please be seated by 9.15am. All parents and whanau are welcome to attend, however, please note that there will not be any onsite parking available.
- 11.30am (approx) – following the prizegiving students will collect their bags and then be dismissed. Although the school buses will still run as usual at 3.15pm, there is no supervision for students onsite after 11.30am, and there will not be any staff supervision for the buses in the afternoon. All students will need to leave the school site by 12 noon. If students need to catch school buses, then they can return at 3.15pm to wait up on Shakepeare Road for their bus.
The Carmel office will close at 12 noon on Thursday 12 December as we have our staff Christmas function. The school office will be open on Friday 13 December from 8.30am to 4.00pm as usual.
Student Lockers – Years 7 to 13
All lockers must be cleared out by Friday 6 December. After 6 December, padlocks will be cut off and all contents of lockers will be removed and discarded. Back to School 2025
- Tuesday 28 January 2025 (new students).
- Wednesday 29 January 2025 (returning students). Mihi Whakatau 9.30am – Whanau welcome to attend.
