Thank you, thank you, thank you. To the dedicated group of parents, whanau and those who have been ‘voluntold’ to help out at ArtFusions. Not just for the event itself but for the many weeks and months that this group has toiled away to make such a great community event and fundraiser happen.

In the week previous, it was great to see students, staff, parents and others from the wider community come in to give a few hours, along with this core group, to help set up and do whatever was required to make it happen.

On the gala night opening, there was a very excited crowd who enjoyed all the fabulous works of art and the hospitality as they wandered about to view and buy.

What makes this not only a major fundraiser but a great community event is to see so many previous students and staff attend as well as the parents of past students still coming back to catch up and support the college.

For the first time in several years, the weather gods were kind and we had brilliant sunshine and very little wind – that just makes it so much easier!!

So, again, a huge thank you to all who assisted with the event but especially the dedicated ArtFusions committee. We, as the Carmel learning community, are sincerely grateful.
