Year 10 students, Julia Segismar, Emma Chen and Aimee Kim participated in the 17th Chinese Bridge – Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students on 25 May at the University of Auckland.

In addition to the speech competition, they performed a short play showcasing Chinese traditional arts, including a fan dance, tea ceremony, Chinese painting, and the recitation of classical Chinese poetry (吟诗).  Their performance was a beautiful display of their cultural knowledge and language skills, which greatly impressed both the audience and the judges.
