Organising and supporting these events at school has raised money for the following charities – well done!
- Mental Health Foundation – Bully Free week – Pink Shirt Day 2023 – $2,255.85
- Red Cross – Coin Trail and Flood Mufti Day supporting communities in NZ impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle and the Auckland Anniversary weekend floods – $4,702.44
- Caritas NZ – Coin Trail donation supporting communities in Fiji facing challenges – $4,702.44. The Faith Cafe also made a donation last term of $2,026.90
In 2023 every dollar donated is matched by the NZ aid programme to become $4, so Carmel’s $4,702.44 donation became $18,809.76
