Carmel College’s new Adopt-A-Park Club planted grasses in Sylvan Park as part of a new Council/school initiative to improve Lake Pupuke environs. The 24 Year 7/8 girls made short work of the planting which is intended to help shore up the lake and create habitat. The girls gain service hours for this service to the environment.
