As we welcome International students to Carmel College, we are looking for warm and caring long term and short term host families reasonably close to the school.

Our homestay hosts must be New Zealand residents and speak English at home.  If you like learning about other cultures, and have a spare room, you might like to consider hosting.  Our International department will be available to offer plenty of support.

From 2025 remuneration will be $400 per week for students in Years 7-10; $380 per week for students in Years 11-13.  There is also a one off winter contribution reimbursement per term (Terms 2&3 only) of $250.
