This week we held our inaugural Pasifika Dinner for families and students. Thanks to our new Pasifika leaders for 2021, Mary Byrne and Madeline Stowers, for all their excellent organisation and thanks to all the girls and parents who came.

At the dinner we acknowledged our Year 13 Pasifika students for their contribution to Carmel over the years. Our current Pasifika leader, Sesilia Vagana spoke, outlining all the different things the Pasifika girls have done this year.

We also had a parent speaker, Trevor Esera, who spoke to the group encouraging them to always be women who practised excellence in all they do, always aim high, be women of service and put their trust in God.

It was a lovely occasion which we look forward to growing in 2021. We wish all our Year 13 Pasifika girls prayers and blessings as they embark on their journey beyond Carmel. Good luck girls, we look forward to hearing of your successes in the years to come.
