This year Carmel College is embarking on an exciting journey of launching the Scholarship programme in Religious Studies. A group of around 20 students will be meeting fortnightly during lunch break to discuss the influence of great thinkers on religion.

This is the first year that NZQA has introduced Scholarship in this subject. Scholarship is a national external assessment for top senior school students. It examines course material related to, and in extension to NCEA Level 3 and requires students to demonstrate high level critical thinking.
