For a number of years, Carmel year 11 students have visited Mercy Hospice, both to learn about the work they do in caring for those with life-limiting illnesses and assist with their annual street collection. This is been a great opportunity to learn about another Mercy organisation and support their good work.
Due to pandemic restrictions the students are unable to visit hospice this year, or to help out with the street collection. Hospice receives limited government funding so relies very heavily on fundraising to continue their work. In order to continue our support, our Mercy Chaplain, Sr Anna has created a “virtual bucket” to support their work this year and we invite you to click the link and make a donation!
