Back in July Sophie Wu and Emily Li ushered for the show, The Mousetrap, at the Pumphouse Theatre.

Our main responsibilities were checking tickets; showing the audience to their seats, handing out programmes, answering questions, learning evacuation procedures if an emergency might occur and cleaning up after the show ended. We also saw the show.  It was amazing and a great way for us to interact with other people.  We got a taste of what working feels like. We ushered for two shows on the same day and it helped us to complete the 20 hours of service required. This was an interesting experience for both of us and we enjoyed it a lot.
