2024 Carmel FootballCongratulations to the 1st XI who won their final match today ending the season in 3rd of the A1 Auckland wide grade. Good luck to this team attending Winter Tournament week in 10 days’ time.
The 2nd XI, coached by Andrew Blewden in the Senior B North Harbour Grade, farewelled a large contingency of Year 13 players who have been playing socially competitively since Year 9.
This year we also saw for the first time a Year 7/8 team (coached by Hilary Halpin) playing weekly in the Junior (Year 9/10) competition finishing in 4th place and we are looking forward to the AIMS Games tournament in 2 weeks for this team.

Congratulations to Sofia Potenciano, Year 10, who competed over the weekend at the 2024 U14 National Junior Kiwi Indoor Tennis Championships, representing Tennis Northern. This is a Tier 1 tournament involving the Top 16 U14 Junior Girls in New Zealand and she made it through to the semi-finals of the Plate draw. |
