Congratulations
Year 7/8 North Harbour futsal zone day, well done to the team for coming 2nd overall. This was our first entry into futsal for this age group, so we are excited for what is to come here in this sport.
Well done to the Year 13 STUDENTS for taking the win in the first staff vs students game of the year! It was a well fought battle, with the students clinching the win in a tie-breaker round. Congrats to the game MVP, Isabelle Esnouf, for securing the win with a 3-point shot!
Sara Woods, Year 10 – Sara competed at the recent Skateboarding Nationals last week, coming 4th in the open women’s. Women’s skateboarding is still a developing sport—but the first place getter, Jessica Ready, only narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Paris Olympics last year, so it was tough competition! Sara is part of the Skateboarding NZ high performance development programme, and they did some movement testing with some of the athletes at the university down there, which was a fun experience too.
