Two Year 7&8 teams from Carmel attended the Kids Lit Quiz. 

The Kids Lit Quiz is an opportunity to show off skill and passion for reading while representing our school.  It’s a fun event where students answer questions based on books they have read.  The competition is divided into 10 random categories (e.g. footwear, doors, captains, pegasi and many others).  In each category there are 10 questions that the team of four must answer.

At the end of the day the quiz master will announce the winners of both year groups and runners up.  Each will receive a prize as well as paid flights to compete in the Kids Lit Quiz national tournament in Wellington.  The winners of that will then progress to the world champs in Australia and represent New Zealand.
