Over 4 days this week all Year 10 girls had a Retreat Day focused on living out our Mercy values and the Gospel call to service. To start off our Retreat Day, we attended Mass at St Mary’s Church. We then met Lesley at the de Paul House and she told us about the work they are doing for families in our community. From there, we split off into three groups and started our service. One group went to St Mary’s Primary School, another group went back to St Mary’s Parish and the last group stayed at the de Paul House. The group at the de Paul House prepared units for future families and also wrapped banana boxes for their Christmas hampers.

This was a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the community and to provide service to those in need.
