Last week all Year 11 PE students went to Tui Ridge Christian Camp in Rotorua to learn about safety in the outdoors. It was a chance for us to experience a range of new activities, which challenged us both emotionally and physically. Through these activities, we made new friendships, learned new skills including cooking for ourselves. The activities we took part in during our time at camp consisted of orienteering, the giant swing, mountain biking, archery attack, indoor rock climbing and other gym sports such as volleyball and basketball. We spent our nights participating in fun games such as a quiz night and a murder mystery game around the camp. These additional activities brought our groups closer in order to have a memorable experience.
