This year saw the first narrative writing competition for Year 7&8 students at Carmel College. Around 60 entries were received by the judges, Katie Pigeon and Katy Body. It was tough to judge, but after many hours of joyful reading and discussion, ‘The Katies’ agreed upon the winners. The stories were on the theme of Change. The winning entries showed maturity and many of our writers drew on personal experiences to create their narrative.
